MISSION

 

At Juan Morel Campos our mission is to ensure that all students graduate with the skills and knowledge to be successful, productive citizens of the global community by ensuring we provide them with a rigorous academic education, opportunities to demonstrate peer leadership, and an understanding of their civic responsibilities to society. 


 

INSTRUCTIONAL FOCUS

 

If Teachers develop and implement a set of common strategies that foster critical thinking, and students are challenged with these across content areas, then they will become independent problem solvers.

Becoming an assistant principal has been a deeply rooted aspiration of mine, fueled by a profound desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives and the broader school community. Throughout my journey in education, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of effective leadership and the potential for meaningful change. As an assistant principal, I envision myself creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, where every student feels valued and empowered to reach their fullest potential. This role presents an opportunity to implement innovative educational strategies, mentor educators, and collaborate with parents and staff to cultivate a dynamic, engaging, and nurturing educational experience for all.

 

Moreover, my why for pursuing this path is firmly grounded in my unwavering belief in the significance of education as a catalyst for personal growth and societal advancement. I want to leverage my skills and passion to foster a culture of continuous improvement, where academic excellence is complemented by character development and emotional well-being. By promoting an atmosphere of mutual respect, open communication, and collaboration, I aim to build a cohesive school community that embraces diversity and celebrates individual strengths. As an assistant principal, I can contribute meaningfully to the overall development of both students and educators, enabling them to thrive academically and emotionally.

 

Lastly, my why stems from a strong desire to be a catalyst for change within the education system. I aim to advocate for progressive policies and educational initiatives that address the evolving needs of the modern world. By staying abreast of educational trends and research, I aspire to create a school environment that adapts to the ever-changing landscape, equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the 21st century. My ultimate goal as an assistant principal is to leave a lasting legacy of positive change, inspiring the next generation of learners to become compassionate, responsible, and engaged global citizens.

JMCSS Teacher Perception Survey

​

An admin perception survey was used to gather feedback and insights from  teachers,  and other school staff, about the performance and effectiveness of the administration in their role within Campos. This survey covered aspects like leadership, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, as well as their contributions to the school’s overall climate and culture. It was designed by the teacher leadership team to help identify areas of strength and areas for improvement for the administrator contributing to their professional development and the school’s success.
